An element of the A3BC’s ongoing success will be the financial sustainability of the national operation. Within the A3BC’s funding strategy is the proposal of matched funding to each state biobank node to assist in staffing and facilities development.

As the first to achieve this, we are proud to announce that Prof. Catherine Hill, Assoc. Prof. Maureen Rischmueller and Prof. Lyn March have been successful in securing a THRF Project Grant, from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The Basil Hetzel Institute (BHI) for Translational Health Research, to support the A3BC following the Rheumatology Research Laboratory at the BHI being selected as the South Australian node for the A3BC.

The A3BC would like to sincerely thank The Hospital Research Foundation for their kind support.
